As a PhD student in Tartu, I'm focused on the functional diversity of plant communities. I am particularly interested in comparing the functional structure and community assembly of plant communities with different levels of functional redundancy and resource availability. Information obtained from my study will be important to understand the resilience and adaptation of plant communities, and also to generate conservation and management strategies in ecosystems. My supervisor is Dr. Carlos Carmona.
