My research interests include plant evolution, speciation and species hybridization. At the university, I teach plant identification both in the herbarium and in the nature, and also contribute to workgroup field works as a plant identification expert. I am also one of the organisers of the Estonian Biology Olympiad, I have been supervising the summer expeditions of the worldwide science and education GLOBE program, and instructed botany field trips at various events.
