My PhD study extends ecological niche concept focusing on habitat preferences. I will explore the biogeography and phylogeny of autotrophic organisms in the light of environmental factors. My research interests also include evolutionary transitions between habitats and historical factors in biodiversity distribution. My supervisors are Riin Tamme and Meelis Pärtel.
