Visiting PhD student from the United Kingdom


We are happy to welcome Kerry Smith, a visiting PhD student from the University of Reading in the UK! Kerry is a first year doctoral student in the Ecology and Conservation Lab exploring the topic 'A global assessment of functional biodiversity change in mammals and birds'. She is supervised by Manuela González Suárez and Chris Venditti from the University of Reading, Joseph Tobias from the Imperial College London, Chris Clements from the University of Bristol and Carlos Pérez Carmona from our workgroup. Kerry will stay in Tartu for the next three months to work with Carlos and collaborate with other workgroup members to learn more about functional diversity.
