Madli received a PhD degree

Within two weeks two of our PhD students have received their degrees! On 26th May, Madli Jõks successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic "Biodiversity drivers in oceanic archipelagos and habitat fragments, explored by agent-based simulation models". We are thankful to the oponent Juliano Sarmento Cabral from the University of Birmingham who guided the interesting discussion about oceanic and habitat islands. Madli was supervised by Meelis Pärtel.
