On 26th May, Madli J\u00f5ks successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic \"<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/dspace.ut.ee\/handle\/10062\/89739\" target=\"_blank\">Biodiversity drivers in oceanic archipelagos and habitat fragments, explored by agent-based simulation models<\/a>\". We are thankful to the oponent Juliano Sarmento Cabral from the University of Birmingham who guided the interesting discussion about oceanic and habitat islands.
